From an Idea to Africa's Logistics Backbone
Our Mission
To empower every African business with logistics infrastructure that is fast, reliable, and accessible. We believe that great logistics is the foundation of economic growth, and we are building the platform that makes it possible.
Our Vision
A connected Africa where every business, no matter how small, can deliver to any customer, anywhere. We envision a continent where logistics is no longer a barrier to growth, but a catalyst for it.
The Journey
From a bold idea in 2021 to a platform powering thousands of businesses across Africa.
The Idea
SafariBid was born in Nairobi out of a simple observation: businesses were struggling to find reliable, affordable delivery. The existing options were either too slow, too expensive, or simply unreliable. Our founders set out to build a platform that would change how Africa moves goods.
First 1,000 Deliveries
We launched with a small fleet of 15 riders serving restaurants in Westlands. The response was overwhelming. Within months, we had processed our first 1,000 deliveries and earned the trust of Nairobi's most demanding merchants.
Regional Expansion
After proving our model in Nairobi, we expanded to Mombasa, Kisumu, and beyond. We crossed 100,000 deliveries and introduced our enterprise API, enabling businesses to integrate logistics directly into their platforms.
500,000+ Deliveries
We reached a milestone of half a million deliveries. Our fleet grew to thousands of riders and drivers across Kenya. We launched our electric vehicle initiative, committing to a sustainable future for logistics in Africa.
Pan-African Vision
With over 6,000 businesses on the platform, we set our sights on pan-African expansion. We introduced AI-powered route optimization, launched in Uganda and Rwanda, and became the preferred logistics partner for some of Africa's fastest-growing companies.

What We Stand For
Our values guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.
Speed First
Every decision we make is measured against one question: does it make delivery faster? Our average delivery time of 45 minutes is the fastest in the region.
Trust & Reliability
We understand that a failed delivery impacts real lives. Our 99.9% success rate is built on redundant systems, real-time tracking, and a commitment to never letting our partners down.
Innovation
From API-first architecture to AI route optimization, we invest heavily in technology that makes logistics smarter, faster, and more accessible for businesses of every size.
Partnership
We succeed only when our partners succeed. Our transparent pricing, dedicated support, and collaborative approach ensure that every business on our platform can thrive.
Sustainability
We are committed to building a logistics network that is good for business and good for the planet. Our electric fleet initiative and carbon-neutral commitment reflect our long-term vision.
Community
We are building more than a logistics company — we are building a community. From the riders who power our network to the businesses that trust us, every stakeholder matters.
